Terms of use
Plain-language terms for using this website. Nothing here overrides your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
The tools and figures are guidance, not a quote
The move planner, the guides and the worked examples on this site are general guidance. They estimate and steer; they do not measure your house. A quote becomes a quote when it is confirmed in a written move plan prepared after a walkthrough. The hourly rates published on the pricing page are the real rates we charge; the hours a move takes are estimated per house and confirmed in that written plan.
Images
Some images on this site are illustrative, stock or generated, and depict the kind of work described rather than a specific past job at a specific address. Sample documents, such as the worked move plan in the guides, are labelled as samples and describe a fictional house.
Content and copying
The written guides, drawings and tools on this site are ours. You are welcome to print, save and use them for your own move, whoever you book. Republishing them as your own is not on.
External links
Where we link to government, council or industry-body pages, those sites are responsible for their own content; a link is a pointer, not an endorsement of everything behind it.
The website itself
We keep the site accurate and working, but provide it as-is: occasional errors, outages and out-of-date corners are possible, and the site's tools may be revised or withdrawn at any time. If something here looks wrong, tell us through the enquiry form and we will fix it.
Booking terms
The terms for an actual move, deposit, cancellation and the rest, are set out with the written move plan for that job, in plain language, before you commit. Consumer guidance on service agreements is available from NSW Fair Trading.
